Short version: your audio files never leave your device.

What we do with your files

Nothing leaves your computer. When you convert a FLAC file, the decoding and MP3 encoding happen entirely inside your browser using its built-in audio engine and a JavaScript MP3 encoder. The audio data is processed locally and the resulting MP3 is generated on your device. We do not receive, store, or transmit your files.

What we don't collect

• We don't ask you to create an account or log in.
• We don't upload your files to any server.
• We don't keep copies of your files.
• We don't add tracking pixels or advertising cookies to this site.

Third-party code

The MP3 encoder library (lamejs) is loaded from a public CDN (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Loading that script is the only external request the converter page makes. The script does the encoding in your browser; it is not used to send your audio anywhere.

Hosting and standard logs

This site is served through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare may record standard request metadata (such as IP address, browser type, and access time) to operate and secure the service. Those logs are not linked to the contents of any file you convert, because the file contents are never sent to us.
